Police: Surveillance video shows suspect in Portsmouth CVS robbery

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — There’s a renewed push to solve a months-old armed robbery case in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth Police are hoping surveillance video will help lead them to the suspect.

Police said the armed robbery happened Aug.11 at the CVS pharmacy on Frederick Boulevard, near Turnpike Road.

A man seen on surveillance cameras approached the clerk at the register, showed them a gun and demanded money, police said.

The suspect made off with some cash and ran off toward Rodman Avenue. No one was hurt.
