Police searching for Va. Beach credit union robbery suspect

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Police are searching for a man who they say robbed the Bayport Credit Union  on Providence Road Thursday afternoon.

Police say they were notified about the robbery at 4:58 p.m. They say the man entered the business, demanded money from the employee and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials say that the man left the scene in a smaller model white pickup truck that has a camper shell.

No one was injured during the incident, according to police.
