Police: No charges filed in death of 3-year-old in Va. Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — No charges have been filed after a 3-year-old boy was found dead in a dryer in Virginia Beach last August.

Virginia Beach police responded to a home in the Chic’s Beach area on Aug. 7 for a child in cardiac arrest.

The child, Brantley Lloyd, was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother told 10 On Your Side Brantley was found in the dryer by his father. 

Police confirmed no charges have been filed at this time. The case is still considered an active investigation

A spokesperson with the Norfolk Medical Examiners Office said Brantley’s cause of death is listed as undetermined.
