Police: Man wanted for using $300 in counterfeit money at Walmart

KITTY HAWK, N.C. (WAVY) — Kitty Hawk police are looking for a man suspected of using $300 worth of counterfeit bills at a local Walmart. 

On March 16, police say a man entered the Walmart around 1 p.m. and purchased items with the fake money.

According to police, the man was last seen wearing a Blue Devil Boatworks hooded sweatshirt and brown cargo pants. 

Officials have confirmed that the man does not work for Blue Devil Boatworks.
