Police: Man injured in April 2 Norfolk shooting dies


NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man who was injured in shooting earlier this month in the Norview section of Norfolk has died, police say.

Norfolk Police said in a news release Thursday 37-year-old Devon Dorsey died April 16 from injuries he suffered in the shooting. A homicide investigation is now underway.

Police were called to the shooting in the the 6200 block of Alexander Street on April 2. 

Information about a possible suspect or motive for the shooting has not been released.
