NORFOLK Va. (WAVY) — A man is expected to recover after police say he appeared to accidentally shoot himself Tuesday morning in Norfolk.
Norfolk police were called to the scene on Hullview Avenue just after 7:30 a.m., and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. His injury was not considered life-threatening.
Police say the man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he is expected to be OK.
A preliminary investigation found the man accidentally fired a gun, striking himself.
No other injuries were reported.
