SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating a single-vehicle accident that also involved some type of shooting incident Saturday night in the eastbound lanes of Route 58 near the Wilroy Road exit.
Suffolk police officials say dispatchers were notified about the accident just after 8 p.m. A vehicle struck a guardrail and had evidence of a shooting.
There were no injuries involved, according to police.
According to VDOT’s 511 Hampton Roads Twitter, the eastbound lanes of Rt. 58 at mile marker 473 were closed for nearly two hours. 10 On Your Side has not confirmed that this was related to the incident.
