Police: Armed suspects rob convenience in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Suffolk are looking for two suspects who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint over the weekend.

Police said in a news release officers responded to the Red Barn Food Store in the 100 block of Pinner Street just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24.

The release said officers determined two suspects robbed a store clerk at gunpoint before fleeing the scene. Photos of the suspects were provided in the release.

Police believe Sunday’s robbery is related to several other armed robberies that have happened in recent weeks.
