Police: 6 people from Suffolk charged in Petersburg robbery

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Police arrested six people from the Suffolk area for allegedly taking part in a robbery in Petersburg on Monday. 

Authorities responded to the 600 block of S. Crater Road and spoke with the victim after receiving reports of a person being robbed. 

Police learned the suspect information and a description of the vehicle the suspects used, Petersburg Police said. 

The vehicle was found hours later in Colonial Heights, and two juveniles and four adults were taken into custody: Luis Patalatin, Vonteevon Roy, Karl Stallings and John Wiggins.

The suspects, who are all from the Suffolk area, were charged with robbery, conspiracy and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
