Police: 2 pizza delivery drivers robbed in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Two pizza delivery drivers were robbed Tuesday night in Hampton — and now police are working to determine if there was a connection.

Police said the first robbery was reported around 9:40 p.m. in the first block of Salem Street. A driver told officers he was there to deliver a pizza when when was approached by two women. 

One of these suspects was wearing a mask, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Police said another driver reported being robbed 10 minutes later on Overbrooke Place, about a mile away. The driver reported a similar set of circumstances.

Police said the driver was robbed of cash and their wallet in the second incident.

Investigators are working to determine whether there is a link between the two robberies.
