Police: 2 injured after shots fired in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) — Two men were injured in a shooting incident Tuesday night in Franklin.

Police say there are multiple crime scenes connected to the shooting.

Officers were initially called to an area on Madison Street for a shots fired report. The officers received information while responding that two men, ages 22 and 29, arrived at Southampton Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police say the men were uncooperative when officers tried to interview them. Both were listed in stable condition.

Three houses were also hit by gunfire Tuesday night, according to police.Officers found multiple casings of various pistol and rifle calibers in the area.
