Person of interest sought in Cock Island bar shooting in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives are looking for a person of interest in a recent fatal shooting at a Portsmouth bar.

A still frame image of Craiesha King from a Facebook Live video provided by the Portsmouth Police Department. Officers are trying to contact King in connection to a fatal March 5 shooting at the Cock Island Bar and Grille.

Portsmouth police said in a news release Tuesday detectives are trying to make contact with Craiesha King in connection to the March 5 shooting at the Cock Island Bar & Grille.

The shooting led to the death of 34-year-old Jermaine Marcus Iriarte. Police arrested 20-year-old Nicholas Kyle Moffitt three days later, and charged him with first-degree murder. 

An image provided by Portsmouth police shows a still frame of King in a Facebook Live video, which was taken the night of the shooting.

The video showed the moments leading up shots being fired outside the bar.
