Pedestrian dies after hit-and-run on Chesapeake Boulevard in Norfolk

Dispatch said they were notified around 4:15 a.m. for an auto-pedestrian crash at the intersection of Chesapeake Boulevard and Robin Hood Road.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a 63-year-old pedestrian early Thursday.

Police said they were notified around 4:15 a.m. for an auto-pedestrian crash at the intersection of Chesapeake Boulevard and Robin Hood Road and found the man with life-threatening injuries.

The victim, Virginia Beach resident Roland K. Henshaw, was taken to the hospital but later died.

Police don’t have a photo of the suspect’s vehicle, but believe it was a dark colored sedan.
