Kyle Battle rounded third and scored on a walk-off, insde-the-park home run after Middle Tennessee’s centerfielder looked to lose a routine fly ball in the sun. Old Dominion topped the Blue Raiders 8-7 to avoid the three-game weekend sweep.
The Monarchs now head to the University of Virginia for a Tuesday showdown. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
