Deputies: 3 Kentucky men charged in 2 break-ins in Corolla


COROLLA, N.C. (WAVY) — Three Kentucky men face charges in connection to two break-in incidents that happened in Corolla earlier this week.

The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release the incidents happened about a bock apart on Monday, April 29.

Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Austin Street for a reported breaking and entering. 

As deputies were investigating, dispatchers received information that a home owner was chasing two suspects who had been seen coming from his home in the 1100 block of Dunton Drive.

The release said deputies apprehended 20-year-old Ethan Taylor Rabanas, 20-year-old Tyler Jacob Schuh and 19-year-old Cameron Jeffery Becker following a short foot chase.

All three suspects have been charged with felony breaking and/or entering, two counts injury to personal property and two counts larceny after a breaking and entering. They were taken to the Currituck Detention Center under a $7,000 secure bond each.
