Norfolk State gets ready for home finale

NORFOLK (WAVY) — Norfolk State wraps up it’s MEAC schedule Saturday when the Spartans host Morgan State in what is the last game of the season at Dick Price Stadium.

Last week, Norfolk State (4-5, 2-4), shut down Howard’s high powered offense, snapping the Spartans 4-game losing streak.

It’s also senior day for NSU.

“Theses are the guys that came in and played as true freshmen, played a lot of football around here,” coach Latrell Scott said.

“We’re very thankful for their contribution. Our record over their four years is not what anybody of us wanted it to be, but a lot of these guys have had a blue print and fingerprint on the change in our program so it will be a very special day for us.”

Kickoff for Saturday’s game against Morgan State is at 1:00.

Norfolk State is scheduled to play at Liberty on December 1.
