JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Firefighters responded to an apartment fire on Saturday night.
Officials say they received the call at 9:31 p.m. for a structure fire in the 100 block of Tilghamn Court. Upon arrival, crews found an eight-unit building with fire conditions and assisted multiple residents evacuate.
The fire heavily damage two units, with smoke and water damage in the remainder of the building. No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Units from the City of Williamsburg and James City-Bruton Volunteer fire departments assisted with this fire.
