Officers made contact with the 41-year-old victim, a person who claimed to witness the assault and the alleged offender, identified as Shaziya Jones. Two children were also found inside the home, one of which was the 3-year-old victim.

The 41-year-old victim had scratches on her arm, bruising on her neck and a bite injury on her forearm, according to police. There weren’t any visible injuries to the 3-year-old boy.

Police also observed broken glass, soil or dirt and the remnants of a pot in the center of the home’s living room area.
