SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Movie lovers in Suffolk, get ready.

Cinema Cafe is opening a new location at Obici Place on North Main Street.

Suffolk officials said in a Facebook post this new location will be modeled after the Cinema Cafe Edinburgh in Chesapeake. It will feature eight screens and 700 reclining seats with swivel tables.

Construction on the new theater will begin before the summer of 2021. The theater is slated to open by the fall of 2022.

This new location will join five other Cinema Cafe theaters across Hampton Roads. The company is also working on building a theater in the Chesterfield area, according to its website.
