ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) — Two workers were killed in a construction accident near Walt Disney World on Wednesday morning, officials said.
Orange County Fire Rescue said several workers were on a scaffold at a hotel under construction in the 14900 block of Chelonia Parkway when the scaffold gave way.
Officials said the workers were between the sixth and seventh floor when the incident occurred.

Two workers fell to the ground and died at the scene, officials said. A third worker hung on and was able to climb to safety. That worker has minor injuries.
It was not immediately clear what caused the scaffolding to give way.
