RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Former Virginia Gov. L. Douglas Wilder is accused of sexual harassment, according to The Washington Post.

The Post reports the accuser is a student who worked as an office assistant at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The woman, Sydney Black, told the Post Wilder took her to dinner on her 20th birthday in February 2017. Black said he invited her back to his condo and kissed her without her consent. She also said Wilder offered to let her live at his house and pay for her law school, according to the Post.

The Post reports Black has reported the incident to police and the university.

In May 2018, Wilder sued VCU, claiming a dean at the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs verbally harassed and abused an administrative assistant there.
