The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the dogs were found in the rubble in Port St. Joe and given baths and hugs.
“We tried to find the owner but was unsuccessful,” the agency said on Facebook. “The female is being named Hurricane and the male, Michael. #HurricaneMichael.”
The agency has organized for the dogs to be brought Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee Groves where they will be up for adoption.
