ST. ALBANS, W.V. (WOWK) – A West Virginia man is accused of huffing paint then beating his mother in the head with a heavy-duty spatula.
According to a criminal complaint, Glenn Casdorph, 30, of St. Albans, is charged with felony malicious wounding.
The St. Albans Police Department say they were dispatched on Thursday, September 13 around 10:45 p.m. to a domestic incident with injuries.
Dispatchers say a woman told them she was hit in the head with a heavy duty spatula by her son and was bleeding badly.
Police found Casdorph sitting on a bench in the front yard. Casdorph had a large amount of silver spray paint on his face and hands and had a large steel bar in his hands.
St. Albans Police say they had numerous work-related encounters with Casdorph and were aware he frequently huffs spray paint.
The woman was transported to the hospital. Her condition is unknown but she was alert with medics.
Casdorph was transported to the South Central Regional Jail.
If convicted, Casdorph could face two to ten years in prison.
