NEW VIDEOS: Helicopter tour of Mexico Beach, “It’s gone”


MEXICO BEACH, Fla. (WKRG) – Aerial footage shows the extent of the devastation from Hurricane Michael along the Florida Panhandle.

Two people are dead and more than half-a-million people are without power after Hurricane Michael moved ashore Wednesday as a category 4 storm.

The storm made landfall Wednesday afternoon in Mexico Beach, Florida with 155 mile per hour winds, wiping out entire blocks of homes.

It’s the strongest hurricane in recorded history to hit the Florida panhandle.
