NEW YORK (CNN) — Actor Kevin Spacey broke his silence on Monday in a strange video.
The video appeared on YouTube and his social media accounts, and coincided with news that he faces a felony charge from a sex assault claim in 2016.
The video entitled “Let Me Be Frank” appears to bring his “House of Cards” character, Frank Underwood, back to life — after the character was killed off in the show’s latest season.
Netflix fired Spacey following numerous allegations of sex assault and misconduct came to light.
The video on Monday was Spacey’s first social media post in over a year.
Spacey faces a felony charge of indecent assault and battery. He’s accused of sexually assaulting a teen at a Nantucket bar in July 2016.
Spacey’s arraignment is set for Jan. 7.
The video was posted minutes after The Boston Globe broke the story about the felony charge.
