Harry Anderson of ‘Night Court’ fame found dead in NC

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Asheville police confirm actor Harry Anderson was found dead in his home Monday morning.

He was 65 years old. 

Anderson was a three-time Emmy nominee for his role as Judge Harry Stone in ‘Night Court.’

He also appeared on the series “Tales From The Crypt.”

According to Asheville Police Department PIO Christina Hallingse, officers were called to the home early Monday morning before 8 a.m.

Anderson is survived by two children from his first marriage to Leslie Pollack, and by his current wife Elizabeth Morgan.
