Fire destroys suburban Chicago mansion

DOLTON, Illinois (NBC) – Fire destroyed a suburban Chicago mansion on Monday.

Massive flames and thick smoke filled the air at the nearly 8,000 square-foot home in in Dolton.

Neighbors say they heard an explosion.

The home has six bathrooms, eight bedrooms, a theater, exercise room, a guest house plus an in-ground pool.

According to neighbors the mansion was once owned by former Chicago Bulls basketball player Dwayne Wade and his ex-wife.
