ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — CIA analyst Jack Ryan is getting a lift from a local Coast Guard crew.

Officials with the U.S. Coast Guard said Thursday that Air Station Elizabeth City helped in filming of the new series “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.”

The Coast Guard posted photos from the production, one of which shows series star John Krasinski trotting away from an Elizabeth City Coast Guard helicopter. A video of this scene being filmed was posted on the Coast Guard’s Twitter page.

This same helicopter can actually be spotted in the official trailer — at 00:37, 00:38 and 00:39 —landing at some sort of social function or event (perhaps a wedding?).

Krasinki’s Ryan is then ordered to get on board.

Krasinski, a longtime star of the hit series “The Office”, is having a big 2018, having released his critically-acclaimed directorial debut “A Quiet Place” this past April.

Amazon has already green-lit “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” for a second season.

Season one premieres Friday, Aug. 31, on Amazon Prime.
