CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR/WAVY) — Dave Matthews Band violinist Boyd Tinsley has been sued for sexual harassment by musician James Frost-Winn, according to reports.

Several music and entertainment publications, including Rolling Stone Magazine, are reporting Tinsley is no longer a member of the band following accusations of sexual misconduct.

The allegations first surfaced in the online magazine Consequence of Sound

It reports Frost-Winn, a former member of Tinsley’s band Crystal Garden, filed a $9 million lawsuit Thursday in the state of Washington claiming Tinsley created a hostile work environment and sexually assaulted him.

Tinsley announced in February he would be taking a break from the band and touring in order to focus on “my family and my health.”
