More than $300K awarded to Norfolk’s housing authority

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk is getting more than $300,000 in federal funding to help residents of the Diggs Park Community.

U.S. senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-Va) announced Tuesday that the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority would be receiving a total of $354,192.

The senators said in a statement, “We are pleased that these critical federal dollars will help strengthen the quality of life for families while revitalizing our community.”
