Several hours after the homicide, a woman arrived at the scene in order to check on her grandfather, who lives two houses down from where the car was found.
“It’s very scary to know that my grandfather was in that house, that it could have been closer to his home, you know, the gunshots, a loose bullet flying,” said said. “When it gets close to your area where your family stays, that’s when it hits close to home and it gets closer to you, you never know, you just never know nowadays.”
