Man found guilty of charges in Newport News road rage incident

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A man was sentenced had he was found guilty of charges in connection to a road rage incident in Newportt News.

Police arrested William Griffin III in February following an incident on Warwick Boulevard.

Griffin was found guilty of concealed weapon and  brandishing charges. He received a 30-day jail sentence and two years of unsupervised probation.

Charges of reckless handling of a firearm and littering against Griffin were nolle prossed, or withdrawn.
