Man charged in fatal stabbing of York County man

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – A man was arrested in York County and charged with second-degree murder in a fatal stabbing of a man early Saturday. 

Deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office responded to the Colonial Trailer Court in the 6300 block of George Washington Highway just before 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found a victim lying in the street with multiple stab wounds. 

The victim, later identified as 49-year-old Gregory Mullins, of Yorktown, was transported to Riverside Regional Hospital and died a short time after arriving. 

53-year-old Michael Alan Bush, of Yorktown, was detained was also transported to a local hospital for an injury. He has been charged with second-degree murder and currently being held at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
