NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are investigating after a man was badly injured in a shooting late Tuesday night.
Officers responded to West 37th Street around 11:30 p.m., where they found a man injured from a gunshot. Police said his injuries are considered life-threatening.
Marcus Mack, lives in the area, said he heard the gunshot late last night. He added they hear shots all the time, but this time it was a too close to home.
“Afterwards I heard a little bit of screaming,” Mack said. “I guess his friend had come out of the house and was yelling. Our neighbor actually called police.”
Investigators have not identified any suspects in the shooting.
