DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A man with warrants on file in Hyde County was arrested last week in Dare County on cocaine and heroin charges.
The Dare County Sheriff’s Office said 39-year-old Kareem Akili Spencer was arrested April 28, following the search of a Manns Harbor-area home. Cocaine, heroin and cash were seized in the search.
Spencer is faced with felony charges of possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin and trafficking in heroin.
Spencer also has warrants in Hyde County for felony possession of firearm by felon and felony discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling or vehicle.
