Man arrested in connection to Norfolk Metro PCS robbery

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man has been arrested after an armed robbery on Monday at the Metro PCS in Ocean View. 

Detectives say 21-year-old La’Vonte K. Daniels went inside the store with a gun and demanded money. When the employee handed over the cash, he fled, police say.

It happened at store in the 9000 block of 1st View Street around 11:15 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Daniels has been charged with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and unlawfully wearing a mask.
