CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were injured following a domestic-related stabbing in Chesapeake early Sunday morning.
It happened in the 3400 block of Frost Flower Court around 4:30 a.m. When Chesapeake police arrived at the scene, they were advised by a 74-year-old woman that her 43-year-old stepson, William Jeannotte, had stabbed his 44-year-old girlfriend multiple times.
Jeannotte had self-inflicted cuts and his stepmother sustained a minor cut trying to disarm him.
Both Jeannotte and his girlfriend were transported to a local hospital for their injuries.
Police have secured charges on Jeannotte for aggravated malicious wounding and malicious wounding.
