Water main line repaired after rupture at Wadsworth Shores military housing

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Officials said they responded to a report of water main line rupture at Wadsworth Shores Lincoln Military Housing Complex Tuesday evening.

Naval Air Station Oceana posted a notice on social media around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday notifying the public about the rupture.

They said the NASO Public Works Department worked to restore service Tuesday evening.

Around 9:35 p.m., NAS Oceana released an update saying the water line had been repaired and service was restored.

Residents should run their water for a few minutes to remove any air and sediment in the lines.
