Va. Beach fire displaces four people, three pets

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults, two children, two dogs and a rabbit are without a home after a Saturday afternoon fire. 

According to Virginia Beach dispatch, the home caught fire in the 3400 block of Petunia Crescent shortly after 1:00 p.m.

Firefighters say the flames were contained to the kitchen, but heavy smoke damaged the home.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
