Shooting on Margate Avenue in VB leaves teenager with injuries

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager with injuries on Thursday morning.

Officers responded just after 11:45 a.m. for the incident in the 5900 block of Margate Avenue in Virginia Beach.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a teenage man suffering from a non life-threatening injury. He was transported to a local hospital.

Two houses and a vehicle also sustained damage from apparent gunfire.

There is no suspect information at this time and the age of the victim has not been released.
