Sentara Princess Anne Hospital resumes normal operations after lockdown due to bomb threat

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach went into lockdown Friday morning as a precaution after receiving a bomb threat.

Brittany Vajda with Sentara said police are investigating, but didn’t have further details.

At 9 a.m., Sentara reported that normal operations had resumed and the scene was cleared.

WAVY’s Regina Mobley found several police vehicles outside and we’re working to gather more information.
