Police: Student accused of filming staff member without consent

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A Suffolk high school student is facing charges for allegedly taking a video of a staff member without their consent.

City officials said a school administrator at Lakeland High School informed police of the alleged Feb. 5 incident last week.

Officials said the video that was taken was "air-dropped" or shared to other students.

Police arrested 18-year-old Ladarris Amir Timmons on charges of unlawful filming or photographing of another and disseminate videographic/still image with intent to harass.
