SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — An attic fire at a Suffolk house has displaced three people.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue officials said in a tweet firefighters responded to a house in the 300 block of Carolina Road, finding heavy smoke in the attic area of the home. Dispatchers said there was a call about the fire received just before 9 a.m.
A second tweet posted less than two hours later said firefighters had the fire under control, and were completing overhaul. Three adults who were displaced by the fire are being helped by the Red Cross.
No injuries have been reported.
