According to police, a juvenile male was shot around 3 p.m. near Manor High School, in the 1000 block of Cherokee Road. Police confirm the student was not shot on campus and that the school was dismissed prior to the incident.

The boy, who police haven’t publicly identified because he’s a juvenile, arrived at a local hospital after the shooting with life-threatening injuries. He later died, police said.
