PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Three different Portsmouth convenience stores were robbed at gunpoint in a 7-hour span overnight, police say.
The first armed robbery happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the Happy Mini Mart at 3300 Victory Boulevard, police say. The second happened around 11 p.m. at the Tinee Giant at 2722 Airline Boulevard, and the third occurred around 3 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 1200 High Street.
Police didn’t have additional details Tuesday morning, but said no one was hurt in the robberies. A spokeswoman says they are still investigating each case and at this point, there is no evidence linking the cases.
