PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Police say two people walked into a local hospital in Portsmouth with gunshot wounds Monday evening.

According to police, the call for the incident came in around 8:40 p.m. Monday. A man and a woman sustained non life-threatening gunshot wounds to their extremities, police say.

No further information has been released.
