Man shot, another grazed, near W 28th St and Granby St in Norfolk


NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police responded to a shooting in Norfolk late Saturday morning.

According to police, they got the call for the shooting around 11:40 a.m., near the intersection of W 28th Street and Granby Street.

On Monday, police confirmed when officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

A second man was also grazed by a bullet during the incident, but did not receive medical attention.

No further information has been released.
