NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Police Department welcomed seventeen new recruits on Thursday evening.
Academy Recruit Class 111 started their journey in July. Norfolk Police Department held a celebration at the Harrison Opera House where the group was sworn in as Police Officers.
Recruiting for Class 112 in November has already kicked off, with twenty-three recruits already enrolled.
