NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Crews responded to a fire in a mobile home Thursday in Norfolk.

Norfolk Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Stephanie Ramsey said the fire was reported around 4:50 p.m. at 4020 E. Little Creek Road at the Princess Anne Trailer Park.

Crews found smoke and flames coming from underneath a mobile home when they arrived, and were able to keep the fire contained to the unit. The damage left two adults displaced. They didn’t request assistance from the Red Cross.

The fire was marked under control at 5:20 p.m. and no injuries were reported. Two cats were retrieved from the home, but Ramsey did not have information about their status.
