NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A Virginia Beach man was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Norfolk Thursday morning.

Norfolk police say it happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Virginian Drive.

The preliminary investigation found the driver, 54-year-old Joseph A. Brunson, Jr., lost control of his car and hit a parked vehicle.

The crash is still under investigation by the Norfolk Police Departments Traffic Fatality Unit.
